Tom Jacoby, Executive Director
Tom and Lori Jacoby started Quick One Messenger together in 1987. With years of experience in traffic and mail management behind him, it was a natural progression for Tom to own a messenger company – and something he was very savvy in handling.
Tom’s skill in communication and understanding of the specific needs of traffic lends competence to the operation and helps make Quick One Messenger one of the top courier services in the tri-state area.
Leah Marshall, Vice President Marketing & Sales
Leah Marshall came to Quick One Messenger after years of experience in customer service, public relations and human resources. Leah has pushed key strategies forward for the company, including the implementation of the new online, real time tracking system. Leah is instrumental in executing marketing for Quick One Messenger with attention to broad-scale promotion for new clients, as well as ensuring existing customers are well serviced. The attention to marketing has resulted in company growth nearly doubling.
Brian Marshall, Vice President Administration
Brian Marshall is a trained management specialist, with several years of management experience prior to coming on board at Quick One Messenger. Brian’s responsibilities are wide reaching, including personnel recruitment and scheduling, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and the handling of all incoming and outgoing communications. To further improve service to our customers, Brian equipped our messengers with Nextel phones, enabling constant communication and instant dispatching. With Brian at the helm, the quality of staff and the stability of the operation are virtually ensured.
Marco Arce, Chief of Operations
Marco Arce started out at Quick One Messenger more than 10 years ago. Marco did foot messenger work in Manhattan as well as driving jobs all over Long Island and the tri-state area. Trained as a dispatcher, he learned the tri-state area far better than anyone in the field. In the early days, Marco handled all the operations single-handedly, with no computer system to take orders – only a pen and paper. Today, Marco is an experienced manager, training others to take phone orders and dispatch work all over Manhattan and Long Island. With his skill and experience, Marco can personally handle about 10 times the traffic of a normal dispatcher and train others expertly as well.
Christian Roumain, Senior Dispatcher
Christian Roumain has been working for Quick One Messenger for several years. Starting out as a Manhattan foot messenger, Christian quickly became one of Quick One Messenger’s fastest and most reliable messengers. This skill earned him a position in one of our Message Centers – Reckson Associates on 45th Street. Christian was soon recognized as a skilled people person, friendly with customers and knowledgeable about the city. He was then trained on phone orders and our computer program at our main office, and started doing driving jobs and familiarizing himself with the Long Island area. Soon Christian was assistant dispatching, and then a head dispatcher. His hands-on experience makes him extremely trusted by the messengers and able to accurately predict for our customers.
